| 10455. GENDER DISPARITIES FOR WOMEN IN MANAGERIAL POSITION, SALARY AND PROMOTIONS. Following an overview of the existing situation in terms of salary inequities, workforce participation, occupational segregation and promotional inequities, the analysis considers explanations for existing equities and possible barriers to female occupational and salary advancement. The concluding analysis addresses possible remedies to persistent inequities, taking into account EEO/Affirmative Action remedies, corporate remedies such as organizational/job reform, and social reform.
