12155. "DUST TRACKS ON A ROAD" BY ZORA NEAL HURSTON (BOOK REVIEW). This paper presents a favorable review of the African-American anthropologist/novelist's 1941 autobiography. Argues that Hurston's method of self-examination created a work that is essentially an autobiography of her artistic self. Refutes Maya Angelou's contention that Hurston neglected issues of racial conflict. Keywords: race relations famous black women. 7 pages, 1 footnote, 1 bibliographic source. Notes in text.
