12266. IDENTITY AND ADOLESCENCE: APPLYING ERIK ERIKSON'S THEORIES TO AN INTERVIEW WITH A TEENAGER. This paper draws on Erikson's (1959, 1961, 1968) theories on adolescent-stage identity formation and developmental tasks to analyze the results of an interview with a real-life teenager. This analysis begins with a summary overview of Erikson's (1959, 1968) theories on the adolescent identity crisis and the tasks of development during adolescence and is followed by an analysis which integrates interview observations with Erikson's theories on adolescence and identity. 12 pages, 16 footnotes, 8 bibliographic sources.
