13116. OPERATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE AMONG MNCS. This report discusses some of the major human resources management and organizational change issues involved in transforming a multinational corporation into an integrated transnational company. Following an overview of the evolving TNC and its implications for human resources management, the analysis examines the use of "subsidiary empowerment" as one potential MNC-TNC transformation strategy. The limitations and shortcomings of this strategy are then considered with reference to Asian subsidiaries.
