Malnight concerning the pharmaceutical giant’s international expansion strategy as of the summer of 1989. The analysis focuses on Eli Lilly’s attention to environmental vision and organizational requirements. Threats and opportunities in the external environment are identified and analyzed and considered in light of the company’s internal strengths and weaknesses.
