This comparative analysis of one of the nation's biggest majority groups (Irish-Americans) and one of the country's smallest minorities (Jewish-Americans) considers the similarity and differences in their respective experiences in terms of the timing and context of arrival, cultural traditions, discrimination, society mobility, and ethnic identity.
