| 17337. A BIOGRAPHY OF THE APOSTLE PAUL. This paper provides a brief biography of the apostle Paul. Discusses Paul’s early life, his conversion to faith in Jesus, his early years in Christ, and his later missionary journeys. Argues that Paul had a significant impact on the early development of Christianity because he preached a gospel that had widespread appeal at the time. In particular, he was able to win over a large number of Gentiles because he emphasized faith as the basis for salvation, and he did not insist on the need for them to change their lifestyles in accordance with Jewish traditions.
