17190. BOEING COMPANY & ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE. This paper provides a prescriptive overview of organizational change at troubled Boeing Company. Following a description of the company’s operations, structure, and micro and macro environment, an organizational change and development approach is used to diagnose problems at Boeing. Based on the diagnosis, a plan for intervention and implementation of organizational change is outline. Another section considers the evaluation of the recommended change program. The concluding discussion considers the organizational change implications of this case for managers in general and public administrators in particular.
