This paper critically reviews and analyzes Causton-Theoharis & Malmgren’s (2005) research article (published in the journal Exceptional Children) on using a paraprofessional training program to increase peer interactions for students with severe disabilities in regular classrooms. The review describes research participants, research setting, research hypotheses and questions, summary of research procedures, summary of findings and then critiques the research, considering its importance and limitations.
