| 18318. A COMPARISON OF FOUR TEACHING STRATEGIES. This paper discusses four teaching strategies: direct instruction, cooperative learning, questioning, and discovery. A chart is provided that compares the strategies and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Using a first-person point of view, questioning strategies are chosen as the most suitable approach for teaching a lesson on the Boston Tea Party to a secondary-level social studies classroom.
