18132. BUSINESS PLAN: IRISH RESTAURANT AND BAR. This paper describes a business plan for the first year of operation of an Irish restaurant and bar, to be located in Woburn, Massachusetts. It is argued that customer loyalty can best be built by creating an authentic atmosphere and by becoming known as a social center for the community. Some benchmark examples are used to support this argument. The paper also provides recommendations on such things as budget, menu differentiation, management style, staff training and incentives, and options for marketing and promotion.
