18701. EVALUATION OF THE “COMMUNITY WORKS” PROGRAM. This paper reviews an evaluation study by Melde, et al. (2006) of the Community Works program, which is designed to help youth at risk of antisocial and illegal behaviors. The study focused on “program fidelity,” or the extent to which instructors have implemented the program as intended by the program’s developers. The review concludes that the study makes an important contribution to the research literature and that the authors provide some useful recommendations for improving the program’s effectiveness.
