| 18553. NIKE’S MARKETING OF THE MICHAEL JORDAN BRAND. This paper discusses how the Michael Jordan brand has been marketed by Nike Inc. Since the introduction of the Air Jordan sneaker in 1986, Jordan’s athletic shoes have been marketed as high-price status items.
