| 18973. PERSONALITY TESTS: STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESS. This paper examines the strengths and weaknesses in three commonly used personality assessments: the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Rorschach inkblot test, and a self-administered test that has been published in Psychology Today as well as other popular magazines. The tests are evaluated in terms of their validity, comprehensiveness, applicability and cultural utility. All three tests are found to have limited reliability and major weaknesses. Concludes that the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator is the strongest of the three tests evaluated, and that the Psychology Today is the weakest among the three.
