| 18702. THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS (GANDHI, ET AL.). This paper reviews an article by Gandhi, et al. (2007), regarding a study that was concerned with the use of evidence-based practices in the development of programs. Specifically, the study evaluated the evidence used to support five school-based drug abuse prevention programs as found on seven prominent best-practices lists. According to the study’s findings, there is need for improvement in how school leaders select the drug abuse prevention programs that they intend to implement.
