07373. THE ANATOMY OF A REVOLUTION: THE CASE OF CHILE. Pinochet's coup of Sept. 1973 is analyzed in terms of C. Brinton's and E. Wolff's models of revolution. Includes generally good historical analysis of the coup from leftist viewpoint. Finds that the coup was the opposite of popular, thus confounding models, but some structural results of governmental change fit the models to be compared. 9 pages, 18 footnotes, 7 bibliographic sources.
